I would recommend SpeechMagic to those radiologists who don’t know it. This efficient system is of great advantage mainly for the patient, who receives his report much faster. We have shifted from a phase in which we had to depend on a secretary to write out the report or to use templates to be filled in with the pertinent information, to this phase, in which we can have total control of our reports: its production, its correction and its validation. The report comes out of the computer with our electronic signature. We don’t have to worry any more about spelling mistakes or about signing the report after it has been typed. Once we click “end”, it’s done.
